Finding high quality instruments can be challenging particularly if you are searching for drums with calf heads, traditional Berlin or Dresden action or drums with a German system(large drum to the right). I can provide drums in both American and German system, along with the full range of percussion instruments of the highest quality for any situation. Here is a selection of the timpani I offer, however I can source most things as required.
dresden, Spenk & Metzle timpani
I have 5 dresden timpani with calf heads, Berlin action pedals, In a German configuration, the sizes are; 31”, 28.5”, 27”, 25.5” and 24”. The 31 is a modern Hardtke built to match the the other drums. The 28.5 and 25.5 were completely refurbished by Hardtke. The 27 and 24 were refurbished by me. They can be hired as a set of four 24,25.5, 28.5 and 31, or two pairs consisting of 24 & 27 or 25.5 and 28.5.
Ringer (Ludwig) timpani
Ludwig Ringer timpani with calf heads in an American/International set up. Currently consisting of a 31”, 28.5” 25.5” and a 23”.They have just been refurbished. The 23 has a Gunter Ringer bowl.
premier ‘popular’ model timpani
A pair of Premier ‘popular’ model timpani from the 1940’s sizes 25“ and 28”. Goat heads by Linik, hand tuned - six taps on each drum. Quad basses.
Premier 25” ‘Delux’ model timpani
A single 25’’ Premier deluxe model timpani with a calf head. This drum does not have the pedal base but is useable on a quad. It can be used as a high third drum with a pair of the Dresdens, or as a low drum combined with the 21” Besson for a very small pair.

Quad base mounted, can be used as a piccolo or as the high drum in a small pair.
